Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your BarMetrics account and associated data at any time. This page explains what data is removed, what we are required to retain, how long deletion takes, and how to submit your request. No login is required to read this page.
What Deletion Removes
When your deletion request is completed, we permanently remove the personal data associated with your account, including:
- Account information: your name, email address, and login credentials.
- Training programs: training blocks, session structures, and exercise prescriptions tied to your account.
- Training logs: your set logs, including prescribed and actual weights, reps, and RPE.
- Personal records (PRs): your logged personal records and movement history.
- Readiness data: your pre-session check-ins and post-session feedback (sleep, soreness, hydration, nutrition, stress, and energy ratings).
What Is Retained
Certain records must be kept to meet legal and financial obligations. Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required for tax and legal compliance. These records are kept only for that purpose and are not used to provide the Service.
Timeline
Account deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. Once your request is received, sign-in to the account is disabled, and your personal data is permanently removed within that window (subject to the legal retention described above).
How to Request Deletion
You can request account deletion in either of the following ways:
- In the BarMetrics app: open the app and go to Profile → Delete Account, then confirm the request.
- Without the app: email support@barmetrics.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We may verify your identity before completing the request.
